Izabela Jaworska
Izabela Jaworska is a professional dance instructor, coach, choreographer, and accredited adjudicator with over three decades of international experience in competitive ballroom dance. She is a National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and World Dance Council (WDC) adjudicator, recognized for her expertise and commitment to excellence in the field.
She holds Fellow degrees in International Ballroom, International Latin, and American Ballroom, as well as a Licentiate in American Rhythm. She is a certified AIDA examiner (formerly USISTD) in International Ballroom (2015), American Smooth (2019), and International Latin (2021).
Originally from Poland, Izabela trained extensively in London, England, for ten years under some of the world's most distinguished coaches, including Peter Eggleton, Bill and Bobbie Irvine, Marcus and Karen Hilton, Andrew Sinkinson, Luca and Loraine Baricchi, and Pierre Allaire in Canada.
As a competitive dancer representing Poland with her former partner, Robert Kubis, she competed internationally across Europe, Asia, and North America. Career highlights include being a Polish National 10-Dance Championship Finalist, representing Poland on the BBC program Come Dancing, multiple Rising Star victories in the United States, four-time U.S. National Championship semi-finalist placements, and Canadian Open Championship runner-up.
In 2022, Izabela founded Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she leads a growing team of professional instructors. The studio continues to expand and actively participates in regional and national competitions. Through her work as an educator and adjudicator, she remains dedicated to fostering excellence, integrity, and growth within the ballroom dance community.
