Trevor Luff
Dance has been a lifelong passion of mine. I began my career in the United Kingdom, where I trained and competed extensively in Ballroom and Latin dance, eventually performing and competing internationally. Those early years shaped not only my technique, but also my deep respect for the discipline, artistry, and tradition of Ballroom dancing.
After relocating to the United States, my focus naturally expanded from competition to teaching, coaching, and mentoring dancers at every level - from absolute beginners to competitive amateurs and professionals. I believe great dancing starts with strong fundamentals, musicality, and confidence, and I tailor my teaching to help each student reach their personal goals, whether that's social dancing, wedding preparation, or competitive success.
In addition to teaching, I am an internationally certified adjudicator and examiner, and I remain actively involved in the DanceSport community. I've had the privilege of teaching and lecturing around the world, which has given me a broad perspective on different styles, learning approaches, and cultures within dance.
What I enjoy most is helping people connect to dance in a way that feels authentic and enjoyable. Ballroom dancing should be elegant, expressive, and fun - and I strive to create an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired every time they step onto the floor.
